"To be honest I have been avoiding this place as I have never seen anyone queueing up here and I drive past it multiple times per day. But thought I'll give it a chance as you can tell they've spent a lot of money doing the shop out. I ordered a chip butty with scraps, the guy on the till was very friendly and told me about the other restaurant next door that does an Indian buffet and just general chit chat as the chips were frying. He added a splash of curry sauce on for me and to be honest it was the nicest chip butty I've had for a while from the fish and chips shops in this area. I can't comment on the fish but the guy frying actually seemed interested in doing the job so I think he might actually take some pride in making fish and chips so will give them a go next time hopefully you get more custom as the restaurant seems really nice and clean"

"The fish and chips were cooked to perfection and had a really great taste. Sausage was a little overcooked but still great along with the curry sauce. The peas were just the right consistency and the coffee was amazing. The host is friendly and left nothing out when taking the order. I will definitely be going there again."

"Been meaning to try this place for ages and finally went today for lunch. Definitely the best fish and chips locally, the fish was cooked to perfection and the batter light and crisp. The chips were the best I've had in years, not greasy at all with complimentary curry sauce, mushy peas and free refills of tea and coffee. The seating area is spotlessly clean and Stan is one of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet. Where else can you get fish and chips to eat in, served on a plate between 12.00 noon and 3pm for £6. I will definitely be returning again very soon."
